Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Joins Library Building for Georgian Emigrants
Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University has joined the GYLA (Georgia
Young Lawyers Association) initiated project: ‘Books from Georgia to
Emigrants’. BSU hosted the charity event of book collecting in the
University Hall, where Rector Merab Khalvashi, professors, educators and
the students have joined forces around the conceptual line of the
project: to collected a gift library for the emigrants. Georgian
emigrants in Poland, Turkey, Greece, Ukraine and Italy voiced the desire
to build a library as a common area of communication.
